Export Screen Time data
One Markdown file per day, kept after macOS deletes the history at about four weeks.
One day, as a file.
Totals are in the front matter. Apps used for under a minute are left out of the table.

One file per day, named by its date, plus a rolling summary.md.
Every app you used for a minute or more that day, with its time and number of sessions.
Time and visits per domain.
How many each app sent you.
When the screen came on and went off, and the total time it was on.
summary.md adds up top apps and daily totals over the days the latest sync read, about the last four weeks.
Exporter never deletes a day file, so the archive keeps growing after macOS drops the old days. The folder is the only copy of those days: back it up.
How it works
- 1Connect Screen Time
A panel opens in the Knowledge folder where macOS keeps Screen Time: press Select this folder. Then choose an export folder.
- 2Pick your days
Tick days in a list you can sort by busiest.
- 3It syncs
Press sync now. Each later sync adds the days since the last one.

Ask Claude about your days
Exported days are files Exporter's local MCP server can list and read. Set it up.
Then ask: “How has my screen time changed since I deleted the news apps?” Claude reads the day files you exported.
