Logseq

Connect

The Logseq card shows when Logseq is installed. Press “connect” and select your graph’s own folder, the one that holds db.sqlite (a database graph) or pages/ (a classic graph). The card’s graph row names it, with “(db)” or “(classic)”. Then press “select export folder”.

Where the files go

• pages/: one file per page, with namespaces as folders, so projects/poster is pages/projects/poster.md and [[projects/poster]] keeps resolving
• journals/: one file per day, like journals/2026-09-01.md, ready for Obsidian’s daily notes
• bases/: the same three Obsidian views as the Apple Notes export

A folder right in your home folder, like ~/Documents, gets a logseq-export folder inside it; a deeper one is used as it is.

What is exported

The whole graph, every page and journal: the card has no list and no tabs. One graph at a time.

The outline stays nested bullets. TODO, LATER, NOW, DOING and WAITING become - [ ]; DONE and CANCELED become - [x].

Logseq exports free, with no limit and no purchase.

Sync and full resync

After the first “sync now”, your edits in Logseq are written to the export while Exporter runs. When you rename or delete a page, the next sync removes its old file.

“full resync” asks first, then removes only the files Exporter wrote and writes the whole graph again. Anything else in the export folder stays. To switch graphs, press “disconnect”, connect the other graph, then “full resync” so the first graph’s files leave.

Problems and fixes

• “not a logseq graph (pick the folder with db.sqlite or pages/)”: select the graph’s own folder, not the folder of graphs above it
• another graph’s files in the export: press “full resync” after switching graphs
