Each app exports free up to an allowance; a one-time purchase unlocks the rest.

$4.99 in the United States App Store. Apple sets the price per country, and each app unlocks once at that price.

## Free in every app

Whatever you exported keeps re-syncing free. The allowance only stops new items.

- Apple Notes: Your first 100 notes.
- Contacts: Your first 100 contacts.
- Messages: Your 10 most recent conversations.
- Screen Time: Your 10 most recent days.
- Documents: Your 10 most recently modified documents.
- Bear: Free, no limit.
- Logseq: Free, no limit.

## How the unlock works

1. One app, one purchase: Apple Notes, Contacts, Messages, Screen Time and Documents each unlock on their own, with a one-time in-app purchase inside Exporter.
2. Paid through the App Store: Apple takes the payment in your storefront's currency. No subscription, no web checkout, no license key.
3. Command line and MCP too: The unlock covers the app, the `exporter` command line and what the MCP server can serve. The next run picks it up.

## Questions

### Why is the price different in my country?

Each App Store storefront has its own price, in its own currency. The card at the top of this page shows the one for your country, and Prices in every country lists the Apple Notes unlock in every storefront.

### Do the other unlocks cost the same?

Contacts, Messages, Screen Time and Documents are separate unlocks, each priced the same as the Apple Notes unlock. Your App Store shows each one's local price before you buy.

### What happens when I reach the free allowance?

Everything you already exported keeps syncing, free. New items past the allowance are left out, and the card says the free limit is reached; the app does not count them, but `exporter sync` prints how many it skipped. ### Is it sold everywhere?

In every App Store storefront in the table. Exporter is not sold in Russia or Belarus.
