[Download for Mac](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/exporter-notes-to-markdown/id6741618455?mt=12) · 100 notes free · $4.99 once · macOS 15+ (US price, set per country)

## What you need

- A Mac with macOS 15 or later: Since version 3.23 Exporter is built for Apple silicon only; 3.22 was the last version for Intel Macs.
- No account: Your exports are files on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded.
- Free to start: Your first 100 notes, 100 contacts, 10 most recent conversations, 10 days of Screen Time and 10 documents export free. Bear and Logseq have no limit.
- Pay once per app: Unlock an app inside Exporter with a one-time purchase, [priced per country](https://exporter.dev/pricing). No subscription.

## After you install

1. Open Exporter: Each app is a card in the window.
2. Connect the apps you want: Press connect on a card. A panel opens in the app's folder: press Select this folder. No permission prompt, no Full Disk Access.
3. Pick a folder for each: Any folder, or a folder of its own inside your Obsidian vault.
4. Sync once: Press sync now. From then on Exporter updates the files as you use the apps, while it runs, window open or closed. It can launch at login.
5. Add the command line, if you want it: On the Command Line card, press "copy install command" and paste the line once in Terminal. Then `exporter` works from Terminal, cron and your agent. [Command line reference](https://exporter.dev/docs/cli).

## Questions

### Where else can I get it?

Only the Mac App Store.

### Is there an iPhone version?

No, and no iPad version. Exporter reads the apps' data where your Mac keeps it.

### Can my agent install it?

No. A person installs the app and pastes the command line install line once; an agent can do the rest. [For agents](https://exporter.dev/agents).
